Sue Sudduth

Sue Sudduth, age 61 went to with the Lord on August 5, 2023, after a long hard fight with cancer.

Sue was born on October 2, 1961, to Peter and Rose (Fritz) Kupchunos in Hartford, Connecticut. The family moved to California when Sue was 3 years old. She was a 1979 graduate of Gladstone High School in Azusa, CA

She proudly married her best friend, Phillip Sudduth on June 28, 1981, in Covina, California. They were married over 42 years.  In the happy marriage, they adopted and raised 3 children and one grandchild.

Sue worked for the Sisters of St. Joseph at the Motherhouse as a CNA for 10 years.  She was a member of the Crosspoint Church in Concordia.

Sue excelled at making their home beautiful. She was always working inside, or in the yard mowing or planting flowers. Whatever needed to be done, she was there. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Phil, her son Jack, daughters Jennifer and Carina, Granddaughter Melody and several grandchildren. Also, survived by two brothers Kenny Kupchunos of CA and Peter Kupchunos of Concordia. Many nieces and nephews, friends, and extended family.

Sue loved her family and friends and will be missed by all that knew her.  

Visitation will be held from August 14,2023, from 9-11 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at August 14, 2023, at 11am, Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia with Celebrant Samantha Stensaas presiding. Reception to follow at Cross Point Church.

Private family inurnment will take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas at a later time.
