William A. “Bill” Davidson

William A. “Bill” Davidson, son of Paul Calvin Davidson and Mildred Irene (Hoffman) Davidson, was born on March 26, 1946 in Concordia, Ks. He passed away March 24, 2023 at Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems in Beloit, KS at the age of 76 years.

On July 14, 1982, he was united in marriage to Rebecca S. Buethe at the Christian Church in Glasco, Ks and Paul, Kristi, Chris and Melissa came to bless this home.

Bill was a decorated veteran of the United States Army.  He was a lifelong rancher. He worked for Solomon Valley Feeders for most of his adult life, in different managerial positions.  He retired from there in 2013.  After several years taking care of his own cattle, Bill and Becky retired completely and moved to Scandia, Ks where they enjoyed the simple life and spending time with family. Their greatest adventures were many trips to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons with their special companions, Bud and Abby.

Bill was preceded, in death, by his parents, Paul & Mildred Davidson; his wife, Rebecca Davidson; one son, Paul Davidson.

He is survived by two daughters, Kristi (Errick) Clark of Beloit, KS; Melissa (Jeremy) Miller of Courtland, KS; one son, Chris (Angie) Stout of Bentonville, AR; special daughter, Ashley Adolf, Topeka, Ks; 13 grandchildren-Preston, Tanner, Laura, Brady, Zach, Colton, Sadie, Gage, Addyson, Hayden, Chase, Riley, Ryker, Haley; Great Grandson, Weston; One brother, Homer (Barbara) Davidson of Smithville, MO; many other family members and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the United Methodist Church in Scandia, KS with Pastor Sandra Jellison-Knock, officiating.    A graveside burial will follow beginning at 2:00 PM at the Glasco Cemetery in Glasco, KS with military graveside rites.

Friends may sign the register book prior to the services at the Church from 10 AM until service time.
