2021 Concordia Cross Country Runners Honored at Banquet

Concordia High School Senior Jordan Gilkeson received the Number One Runner Award for the girls team, while Sophomore Qwinter Zimmerman picked up the Number One Runner Award for the boys team during the Concordia High School Boys and Girls Cross Country Banquet on Tuesday, November 16th.

Junior Moyra Barnes was the recipient of the "Brent Newton Award," which is given to the runner(s) that inspires hard work, desire, spirit, and heart in their teammates by working hard in every meet and practice and has a true love and dedication to the sport of cross country.

Major letterwinners on this year's cross-country team were: Jordan Gilkeson, Moyra Barnes, Jaida Koester, Megan Barr, Aubrey Stahlman  Qwinter Zimmerman, and Jagger Johnson.

Sixth grade runners that received participation awards were: Addison Abitz, Bridgett Blochlinger, Tessa Breese, Bailey Cherney, Bailey Connor, Ashlynn James, Avery Kueker, Addison Schreiber and Marlee VanMeter. 

7th grade runners that received participation awards were: Mya Niehues, Hannah Bridwell, Isabelle Alexander, McKayla Cherney, Anastasia Schreiber, Ava Metro and Quinn Kymer.

8th grade runners that received participation awards: Gunner Barnes, Joel Gross, and Draven Luecke.
