2026 KJCCC Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week - Week 4

Repeat winners from week two, Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference women’s indoor track and field Athlete of the Week honorees Maimuna Jallow (Cloud County) and Xylavene Beale (Hutchinson) have both earned their second award in a three-week stretch.

Maimuna Jallow (Cloud County) – KJCCC Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
Maimuna Jallow set new meet records in both the 60 meters (7.32) and 200 meters (23.66) at the Washburn University Open last weekend. Both times ranked number one in the NJCAA this season, as Jallow also went on to run the second leg for Cloud County in the 4x400 meter relay, which set a national qualifying time of 3:54.11 (Jallow's leg was a 54.97).

Xylavene Beale (Hutchinson) – KJCCC Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Blue Dragon freshman Xylavene Beale won two events at the Wichita State Coach Wilson Open, setting two Hutchinson indoor school records, and vaulted to the number one ranking in the NJCAA in both events. Beale won the weight throw with a Blue Dragon record of 58 feet, 5 inches (17.81 meters) on Friday and followed that with a second-straight Blue Dragon record in the shot put with a winning performance of 50-6 3/4 (15.41 meters). Beale's shot put mark is over one foot better than the next closest competitor, while her weight throw mark is nearly three feet better than the next closest competitor on the NJCAA performance lists.
