Clifton-Clyde Girls Cross Country Team Qualifies for 2018 KSHSAA 1A Girls State Meet

The Clifton-Clyde High School Girls Cross Country team has qualified for this weekend's 2018 Kansas State High School Activities Association Class 1A State Cross Country Meet following a 3rd place team finish last weekend at their Class 1A Regional in Washington County.

The state meet will be held Saturday, October 27th at the Wamego Country Club in Wamego, Kansas. The Class 1A Girls Race is scheduled for 10:35 am.

Last weekend at regionals, the team was paced by Junior Jaysie Bowser who finished 13th individually in a time of 23:24.04. Freshmen Montana Wunderle and Paige Bowser and Senior Haley Hollon all ran personal bests at the meet.

The team also consists of Freshmen Karsyn Sykes and Sydnie Bowser.
