Cloud County Coach Devin Kastrup Accepts Assistant Coaching Role at Idaho State University

After three seasons leading the Cloud County Community College Men's Basketball team, Devin Kastrup has accepted an assistant coaching job at a Division I institution.

Idaho State University has named Kastrup as an assistant men's basketball coach.  The Bengals, members of the Big Sky Conference, also announced this week the signing of Cheikh Sow, a 6'7" guard from Cloud County for the 2024-25 season.

Coach Kastrup helped guide Cloud County Community College to a 21-11 overall record and 15-9 mark in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference play this past winter, the T-Birds first 20-win season since 2016-17.

Idaho State was 14-20 overall and 7-11 in Big Sky play, reaching the Big Sky Tournament Semifinals for the first time since 2009.
