Cloud County Softball Doubleheader at Northwest Kansas Tech on Thursday Cancelled

Due to forecasted weather in the upper 30's and rain throughout the day, the Cloud County Community College softball doubleheader scheduled for Thursday, March 14th at Northwest Kansas Technical College has been canceled.

Originally scheduled for a 12 PM (MDT) start in Goodland, the current forecast calls for a high temperature of 41 with rain and wind gusts over 40 miles per hour. Cloud County and NW KS Tech have already played twice this season, with the T-Birds taking both games on February 21st over the Mavericks in Concordia.

With the cancelation, Cloud County is next scheduled to be in action on Sunday, March 17th when the T-Birds head to Council Bluffs, Iowa to play a 1 PM doubleheader at Iowa Western Community College. IWCC is currently 15-11 overall this season with four games scheduled in Overland Park, Kansas this week against Johnson County and North Iowa Area Community College before playing host to CCCC. The doubleheader with the Reivers will kick off the final week of non-conference play for Cloud County as the T-Birds will play six games in six days, with the final four non-conference games coming at home for CCCC.
