Cloud County Sophomore Brette Doile Has Been Named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week

After helping the Cloud County Community College volleyball team to a 4-1 record last week, T-Bird sophomore Brette Doile has been named Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division I Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week.

Totaling 102 digs over the course of 20 sets, Doile filled in at libero last week following an injury to the main Cloud County libero and stepped up in a big way as the T-Birds won each of their first four matches of the week. Recording the highest service percentage on the team at 2.3, Doile also ranks second on the team in serve percentage with a 2.2 percent serve percentage and led CCCC in digs in all five matches. In addition to her defensive numbers last week, Doile had five service aces and nine set assists. The McPherson, Kansas native currently leads Cloud County in service aces (31) while ranking second on the team in set assists (188) and digs (277) with her service aces ranking eighth among all KJCCC Division I players this season.
