Cloud County's Dooley, Palacios Named All-Region VI Volleyball Selections

Cloud County Community College volleyball sophomores Natasha Dooley and Geraldyn Palacios have been named to the All-NJCAA Region VI Division I Volleyball teams for their performances throughout the 2021 volleyball season.

Becoming the first All-Region VI honorees at the NJCAA Division I level since 2016, Dooley earned Second-Team All-Region VI honors while Palacios was named an Honorable Mention All-Region VI selection.

Playing in all 31 matches for Cloud County and playing in 107 total sets, Dooley would lead the T-Birds with 294 total kills and average of 2.75 kills per set this past season. The Garden Plain, Kansas native would add a team-best 51 service aces and 406 total digs to go along with 45 blocks. The 294 total kills would rank 10th among Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division I players while the 406 digs ranked 10th among conference players.

Palacios would cap off her career as a T-Bird by finishing the season with 257 total kills to rank second on the team and a team-high .349 attack percentage on 556 total attack attempts. Providing 38 service aces, 179 digs, and 154 total blocks, Palacios would rank second in the KJCCC Division I in total blocks and blocks per set (1.28).
