Concordia Changing from Class 3A to Class 4A

The Kansas State High School Activities Association released the classifications for the current year, along with the football classification for the next two years, on Monday, September 25th.

After competing as one of the biggest Class 3A schools around last year, Concordia High School is back to being one of the smallest Class 4A schools in the state.

KSHSAA set the bottom number for Class 4A at 323.  Concordia reported an official count day enrollment of 323 this month, sending the Panthers back to Class 4A.

Enrollment figures are as of September 20, 2023 based on ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth grades.

In the new two-year football classification cycle, Concordia will continue to compete in Class 3A.
