Concordia Cross Country Runners Race at Republic County Invitational

The Concordia High School Boys and Girls Cross Country teams traveled to Belleville on Thursday, September 22nd for the Republic County Invitational hosted by Republic County High School.

Sophomore Aubrey Stahlman led the Concordia Girls team in a time of 24:41 to finish in 12th place individually.  Junior Megan Barr was next in 26:31 to place 15th overall.  Senior Moyra Barnes ended up in 22nd place in a time of 28:18.

On the boys side, Freshman Draven Luecke ran the course in 21:01 to place 16th overall.  Freshman Joel Gross was 22nd in a time of 22:51.

Up next, Concordia runs at the Beloit Invitational at the Beloit Country Club on Thursday, September 29th.  Other participating schools are Beloit, Abilene, Bennington, Ell-Saline, Lakeside, Lincoln, Osborne, Phillipsburg, Plainville, Republic County, Sacred Heart, Smith Center, Southern Cloud, St. John's Beloit, Stockton, Superior, Sylvan-Lucas Unified, Tescott, Thunder Ridge, and Wilson.  The meet begins at 3:45 pm.
