Concordia Cross Country Season Continues at Beloit Invite

The Concordia High School Boys and Girls Cross Country teams traveled to Beloit for the Beloit Invitational, held Thursday, September 29th at the Beloit Country Club.

Freshman Draven Luecke paced the Concordia Boys in a time of 21:21.7.  Junior Qwinter Thrash crossed the finish line in a time of 21:48.8.  Freshman Joel Gross posted a time of 23:34.8.

In the girls race, Junior Megan Barr led the Panthers in a time of 29:02.5, while Senior Moyra Barnes turned in a time of 31:05.5.

Concordia heads to Ellsworth on Tuesday, October 4th.  Other participating schools are Ellsworth, Abilene, Beloit, Centre, Chapman, Ell-Saline, Hesston, Natoma, Nickerson, Republic County, Smoky Valley, Tescott, Victoria and Wilson.  Races begin at 3:30 pm at the Ellsworth Golf Course.
