Concordia Freshman Hannah Bridwell Posts Top-Five Finish at Beloit Invitational

The Concordia High School Boys and Girls Cross Country teams ran at the Beloit Invitational on Thursday, September 28th.

The high school course was shortened to 2.5 miles due to course conditions. 

Concordia's Hannah Bridwell was the fourth-place individual on the girls side with a time of 16:32.1.  Freshman Skye Johnson ran 19:04.9 to finish 26th for the Panthers.  Junior Aubrey Stahlman came in 45th with a time of 21:39.3, and Senior Megan Barr was 66th with a time of 26:15.2.

In the boys race, Senior Qwinter Thrash had the top time for the Panthers, finishing 35th overall in a time of 16:01.2.

Quinn Kymer, Brody Marsh and Gunnar Barnes all competed in the JV race.  Kymer recorded a 16th place finish after running 19:52.3.  Marsh was 19th with a time of 20:04.7, while Barnes was 20th after running 20:49.1.

Up next for the Panthers runners is a trip to Riley County on Saturday, October 7th.
