The Concordia High School Girls Golf team took 15th place at the Buhler Invitational held on Friday, September 23rd at the Hesston Municipal Golf Course in Hesston, Kansas.

The Panthers were led by Junior Emma Herman who completed her round with a 114.

"Emma improved by 14 strokes from her outing in the heat at the Salina Country Club on Tuesday and even chipped in to finish her round," CHS Girls Golf Coach Gene Rundus told KNCK Sports.

Senior Cianna DeLeon carded a 125.  Kassidy Bowers had a 129.  Brecklynn Bonner and Georgia Trost each finished at 131.  Peyton Johnson shot 138.

"After playing the first six holes in the rain, the skies began to clear and the girls gained confidence," Rundus said.  "The scores weren’t where we want them, but there was definite improvement from Tuesday’s tournament, so we look to build on that as we head to Clay Center next week."

Concordia will travel to Clay Center for the Clay Center Invitational on Thursday, September 29th.  Tee-time is scheduled for 3 pm.
