Concordia Had One Doubles Team and Two Singles Players Compete in the 2023 North Central Kansas League Meet in Wamego on Saturday, September 30th

The Concordia High School Girls Tennis team competed at the 2023 North Central Kansas League Meet in Wamego on Saturday, September 30th.  Lacie Duvall and Kacie Price secured spots in singles play, while Jesika Bisnette and Zoe Britt played together on the doubles side.

"It was a warm day for our varsity NCKL at Wamego.  I thought we played well with all the adjustments due to injury and sickness," Coach John Turner told KNCK Sports.  "Lacie placed 5th.  Zoe and Jesika teamed up and placed 4th on the day, beating Abilene and Wamego.  Kacie played # 2 singles on the day.  This was a first for her as she has always played doubles.  She worked very hard and I was very proud of her."

The Panthers next will compete in the 2023 Kansas State High School Activities Association Class 4A Regional Tennis Tournament in Buhler on Friday, October 6th.  Other participating schools are Buhler, Abilene, Augusta, Chapman, El Dorado, McPherson and Towanda-Circle.  The seeding meeting begins at 9 am.
