Concordia Softball Sweeps Non-League Doubleheader with Sacred Heart

The Concordia High School Softball team swept a road non-league doubleheader against the Sacred Heart Knights on Tuesday, April 5th.

The Concordia Lady Panthers scored 5 runs in the 8th inning to break open a 6-6 tie on their way to an 11-6 win.  Sophomore Erinae Flesher had 4 hits in the contest, while Junior Hanna Acree earned her second win of the year on the mound.

Flesher pitched all seven innings for Concordia in game two, guiding the Panthers to a 12-9 win.  Freshman Kenlee Williams had a triple as part of a big 6 run 4th inning that put Concordia in control.

Now 3-1 on the year, Concordia will host Riley County in a non-league doubleheader on Thursday, April 7th.  First pitch of the first game of the doubleheader is scheduled for 4:30 pm from the Concordia Sports Complex.
