Concordia Softball Team Named No. 3 Seed, Will Host Marysville in Regional Tournament on Monday

The Concordia High School Softball team has earned the No. 3 overall seed in their 2023 Kansas State High School Activities Association Class 3A Regional Softball tournament.

The Panthers (8-12) will play the Marysville Bulldogs (4-14) in its opening game on Monday, May 15th in Concordia.  The Panthers posted two road wins over Marysville on May 2nd, winning by scores of 11-2 and 6-4.

The two teams will match up in the final game of the first round.

The seven-team regional will see No. 4 Riley County (7-11) play No. 5 Plainville/Stockton (6-14) at 2 pm.

No. 2 Minneapolis (14-6) will face off with No. 7 Russell/Victoria (3-17) 25-minutes after the conclusion of the Riley County and Plainville/Stockton game.

Concordia and Marysville will be the nightcap.  Live coverage of the game can be heard on 1390 KNCK, 98.3 FM and NCKToday.com.

The Beloit Trojans are the No. 1 seed at 15-3 on the season and have been awarded a first-round bye.

The two semifinal contests and championship game will be played Tuesday, May 16th in Concordia.
