Concordia Track Teams Place 11th at Smoky Valley Invitational

The Concordia High School Boys and Girls Track and Field teams traveled to Gypsum, Kansas on Friday, April 14th to compete in the Smoky Valley Invitational, hosted by Southeast of Saline High School.

The girls finished in 11th place as a team with 16 points, while the boys finished in 11th place with 3 points.

Freshman Charlize Cash captured a 2nd place finish in the Girls 300M Hurdles in a time of 48.51.

Cash also landed a 5th place finish in the Girls Triple Jump with a leap of 33'4".

Freshman Kynlee Hamel recorded a 4th place finish in the Girls 100M Dash in a time of 12.94.

Hamel also posted a 5th place finish in the Girls High Jump with a jump of 4'8".

The Girls 4x100M Relay team of Junior Jesika Bisnette, Cash, Hamel and Sophomore Aubrey Stahlman placed 6th overall in a time of 53.94.

On the boys side, Senior Aceyn Cash placed 5th overall in the Boys High Jump with a leap of 6'0".  Senior Cole Hobrock finished in 6th place in the Boys Pole Vault with a vault of 11'0".

The Panthers will be back in action on Tuesday, April 18th when they head to Belleville for the Republic County Invitational.  Other participating teams are Republic County, Axtell, Beloit, Blue Valley-Randolph, Clifton-Clyde, Hanover, Linn, Marysville, Minneapolis, Nemaha Central, Pike Valley, Rock Hills, Tescott, Valley Heights, Wakefield and Washington County.
