The Concordia High School Volleyball team rolled to a North Central Kansas League sweep of Chapman Tuesday, September 27th.

The Panthers took the opening match, 25-16, 25-18.  Junior Carlie Carlgren led the way with 6 kills, 5 digs and 1 block.  Sophomore Kenlee Williams had 6 kills and 1 dig.  Senior Shaelin Giersch posted 3 kills and 1 dig.  Junior Callie Parker added 3 kills and 2 blocks.  Senior Hanna Acree had a match-high 12 digs.  Sophomore Kinsleigh Bethune finished with 2 digs and 2 aces, while Freshman Baylen Arnold recorded 7 digs and 1 ace serve.

Concordia completed the sweep with a straight-set victory in match two, 25-17, 25-6.  Sophomore Taylor McDaniel ended up with 5 kills and 2 digs.  Williams posted 5 kills, 1 dig and 1 block.  Carlgren had 4 kills, 3 digs and 2 aces.  Parker provided 4 kills, 2 blocks and 1 ace.  Freshman Kynlee Hamel turned in 4 kills and 1 block.  Giersch notched 2 kills, 1 dig and 1 block.  Acree again posted a match-high 14 digs.  Senior Madison Starr had 2 digs.  Junior Hattie Blackwood added 5 digs and 1 ace, while Arnold finished with 3 digs and 2 aces.

The Panthers are now winners of three-straight, holding a 4-2 record in league play with a 3-1 record at home.  Concordia will host the Concordia Invitational on Saturday, October 1st.  Other participating schools are Beloit, Clay Center, Hanover, Marion, Marysville, Minneapolis, Northeast Kansas Saints, Riley County, Smith Center, and Southeast of Saline.  Matches begin at 9 am.
