Concordia High School Baseball standout Stryker Hake signed a letter of intent on Wednesday, January 25th to play at Cloud County Community College in Concordia next year.

Hake, who will graduate in May, will join a T-Bird program that won 42 games in 2022 and earned a trip to the NJCAA Plains District Tournament in Manhattan.

At Cloud County Community College, Hake will play for Coach Eric Gilliland, a Concordia native and a Cloud County graduate.

Hake is glad to be staying home so his friends and family can watch him play a sport he loves.

A starting shortstop and pitcher, Hake was named Honorable Mention All-North Central Kansas League in 2022.  Hake hit .341 last spring and led the Panthers with 27 total bases.  Hake had 15 hits, including three doubles, three triples and one home run.  He also led the team with 12 stolen bases.

Hake is ready for his senior season.

The Panthers are scheduled to start the 2023 season on Thursday, March 23rd with a home doubleheader against the Republic County Buffaloes.
