Four Concordia Football Players Receive All-League Recognition

The Concordia High School Football team had several players receive recognition for great performances on the field this fall.

There were five total All-North Central Kansas League selections for the Panthers -- two on offense and three on defense.

Junior Lineman Keegun Beims received First Team All-League honors for both sides of the ball.  Beims had 42 tackles this year, including two tackles for loss along with one fumble recovery.

Senior Linebacker Alec Wildeman and Sophomore Linebacker Dane Cleveland received Honorable Mention All-League honors.  Wildeman averaged 4.3 tackles per game, while Cleveland led the team in defensive stops with 57.

Junior Lineman Jace Tholstrup received Honorable Mention All-League recognition on the offensive side.

The Panthers Varsity Football team completed the season with a 2-7 overall record, losing to the Wichita-Collegiate Spartans in the opening round of the 2022 Kansas State High School Activities Association Class 3A State Football Playoffs on October 28th.
