Hannah Bridwell Wins Girls Race, Qwinter Thrash and Draven Luecke Place in the Top Ten in Boys Race at Republic County Invite

Freshman Hannah Bridwell won the girls race while Senior Qwinter Thrash and Sophomore Draven Luecke both recorded top ten finishes in the boys race at the Republic County Invitational on Thursday, September 21st.

Bridwell clocked a first-place time of 20:37.4 to win her second race of the season.  Senior Megan Barr was 25th overall in a time of 30:11.2.

Thrash led the boys team by placing 7th overall in a time of 19:52.5.  Luecke, meanwhile, covered the course in a time of 20:20.9, finishing in 8th place.  Freshman Quinn Kymer was 27th overall in a time of 23:14.6, followed by Sophomore Gunnar Barnes in 30th place in a time of 23:45.2, and Freshman Brody Marsh in 31st place in a time of 23:54.5.

Up next for the Concordia High School Boys and Girls Cross Country teams is the Beloit Invitational on Thursday, September 28th.
