Leading their respective teams to wins over NJCAA Region 11 competition over the weekend, Butler Community College outfielder Danny Wideman and Cloud County Community College pitcher Stocton Timbrook have been named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference West Division Baseball Players of the Week.

Danny Wideman – Butler (KJCCC Baseball West Division Player of the Week)
Butler freshman outfielder Danny Wideman delivered a monster performance over the weekend, powering the Grizzlies to a four-game series split with Des Moines Area Community College. In three games against the Bears, Wideman racked up eight hits in 12 at‑bats, blasting five home runs, driving in 11 runs, scoring six times, while adding a double and three stolen bases. Wideman homered twice in both games two and three of the series, then capped the weekend with another long ball in game four.

Stocton Timbrook – Cloud County (KJCCC Baseball West Division Pitcher of the Week)
Cloud County sophomore right-hander Stocton Timbrook moved to 2-0 on the season after leading the T-Birds to a 12-0 shutout victory in five innings over Marshalltown Community College on February 27. Timbrook pitched the complete game shutout, limiting the Tigers to no runs on one hit while striking out six.
