The undefeated Wamego Red Raiders rolled into Harold M. Clark Stadium and took down the Concordia Panthers 46-0 on Friday, September 16th, with Senior Quarterback Colin Donahue accounting for four touchdowns.

The Panthers had not been blanked since 2019 when Scott City recorded a 28-0 playoff victory over Concordia in Scott City.

On Friday, Donahue threw for four touchdowns -- a pair each to Hagan Johnson and Chase Cottam -- and Junior Running Back Thomas McIntyre ran for two scores as the Red Raiders turned a 16-0 halftime lead into a six score victory.

Concordia not only failed to score for the first time in 23 games, but they turned the ball over three times and totaled just 129 yards.

Junior Quarterback Braeden Primeaux completed 6-of-10 passes for 75 yards and one interception.  Primeaux also led Concordia in rushing with 12 carries for 42 yards.

Panthers Junior Wide Receiver Payton Breese hauled in a team-high 3 receptions for 29 yards.  Breese has amassed 8 receptions for 77 yards through three games, averaging 9.6 yards a catch and over 25 receiving yards per game.  He was named our Nex-Tech Wireless MVP of the Game.

The team's longest play in the loss was a 31-yard toss from Primeaux to Senior Tight End Chayton Alquist-Pennell.

Senior Cornerback Koby Tyler, making his first start of the year, had eight tackles including six solo stops for Concordia.

Next up for the Panthers is a trip to Marysville on Friday, September 23rd to face North Central Kansas League foe, the Marysville Bulldogs, in their first Class 3A District 5 matchup.  Marysville is 0-3 on the year following losses to Abilene, Wamego and Chapman.  Kickoff of that game is scheduled for 7 pm.  Live coverage of the game can be heard on 1390 KNCK, 98.3 FM and NCKToday.com
